Q. What is Auto Library International and how does it work?
Auto Library International or A.L.I. is an online software subscription allowing you to access technical data from over 17,000 model variants. Click on the “Software Info” button located at the top for more details.

It is powered bt Boyce's Automotive Data, one of the oldest publishers of technical vehicle info.

It is a simple & straightforward format to use.
Step1. Select the vehicle.
Step2. Choose the type of data eg specs
Step3. View data online or print it out.

Q. Can I try Auto Library International before I sign up?
Yes! We recommend that you trial it first, that way you get to see exactly what you are getting and how cost effective it is for your business.
You will need to click on the “Request Demo” button. After we have received your request, we will email you back a unique login & password.

Q. Do I get to see everything when I am trialing Auto Library International?
Yes, you will have access to the full version. However you can not print while in demo mode. Paid subscribers can print.

Q. Ok, I have trialed it. How do I sign up?
Go to the “Members” button (located at the top next to the Home button).
Then click on the "Subscribe Now" button.

Q. How long does the Auto Library International subscription last?
The subscription is for 12 months. After that time you will not be able to access the data, until you have renewed your subscription. Once you renew, you can use the same login and password. When you are about to expire, we will notify you. We do not automatically deduct your credit card every year.

Q. How much will I be charged and in what currency?
If you are the first 500 to sign up then the cost is AU$395 for a 12 months online subscription. (AUD$395 is approx GBP$189). Currently all credit cards will be processed in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Q. Do I get any updates with the Auto Library International subscription?
Yes, we regularly update our database. There is no charge to receive the updates.

Q. I have 3 computers at my workshop. Can I access it from all three?
Yes, provided the computers are connected to the internet, you can access it 24/7 every day of the year. The subscription allows two logons at the same time, from any of the 3 computers.

Q. What if I want to access all 3 computers at the same time?
Currently we only offer a limit of 2 logons at the same time. However in the future we will allow extra logons at an additional fee.

Q. What happens if I try to logon more than twice at a time?
Every account is limited to two simultaneous logons, meaning that once two logon attempts are made with the same login and password a third will not be accepted until one of the others has properly logged off using the 'Log Off' button. When an attempt is made to logon to an account that already has two sessions open you will be alerted that your account already has two active sessions and you will be unable to logon again till one of those sessions has timed out.

Q. Once I logon, how long before I will be automatically cut off?
If no activity is detected, then after 2 hrs it will automatically logoff.
This means you will need to logon again.

Q. How long does it take to display the technical diagrams?
This would depend on your internet connection and how stable it is. It is not suitable for dial up (56Kbps). If you have ADSL, cable or broadband then it should display quickly. But once again that depends on how reliable your internet provider is. We recommend that you trial the Auto Library International to see for yourself. It is free to register for an online demo.

Q. I don’t have fast internet. Can I access Auto Library International in any other way?
No, not at this point but that may change, so it is worth sending us an email.
Currently we only offer the subscription on CD/DVD to our Australian, New Zealand & South Pacific clients.

Q. What happens if an unauthorised logon is detected?
We will notify you via email with a warning, if unauthorised logons are repeatedly detected your account will be permanently suspended. You will not receive a refund.
